Merchandiser with Good Sourcing experience

Our client was established in 2007, this Hong Kong office provides sourcing, development, quality control and inspection, Their business covers both hardgoods and softgoods including everyday Sundries items, they also has a sourcing office in China, Ningbo. Now, for company expansion, they are recruiting one Merchandiser with good sourcing experience to join their merchandising team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for constant sourcing of new products and vendors, conduct comparison for quality and cost for different vendors
• Handle price negotiation and costing with vendors
• Propose, modify and validate a purchase transfer schedule (factory visits, showroom, etc.) with the needs if the buyer and Senior Sourcing Manager
• Work closely with buyers to understand customer needs, requirements and overall market trends
• Build and maintain excellent vendors relationship
• Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks as requested by Senior Sourcing Manager

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or above qualification.
• At least 3 years relevant sourcing experience for Sundries, especially Camping, Beach and Pest control items are highly preferred,
• Willing to travel frequently, Ningbo
• Self-motivated, independent, proactive, team player and able to work under pressure
• Good communication and organization skills
• Proficient in MS Office application – Good command of English and Mandarin

5 days of work at Hung Hom (Few minutes walk from Whampoa station)
