Assistant Manager, Merchandising

Responsibilities:

  • Handle pre-season product development and proceed handloom/ knitdown arrangement, and arrange sample making; consolidate fabric price info and pass to sales team for quotation
  • Work with Product Development and Merchandising team on the development needs and customer’s direction, as well as coordinate the sample arrangement
  • Work with internal departments and operations to ensure the quality is up to standard and is the best to offer to customers
  • Assist the Senior Sales Manager to prepare the seasonal presentation for customers, prepare customized development according to individual customers’ nature and price point
  • Work with sales team closely and assist the Senior Sales Manager to come up with business strategies
  • Work with different supply chain on order follow up and handle bulk issues if needed

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Fashion/ Textile Design or other related disciplines with passion in fashion industry
  • Minimum 5 years apparel merchandising experience
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Good product/ industry knowledge (Woven/ Knit)
  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Embrace change and have critical thinking
  • Energetic, creative and willing to learn
  • Based in Hong Kong with occasional travel to PRC and overseas


Candidates with less experience will be considered as Merchandising Executive.
