Merchandiser (Handbag)

Our client is a leading Handbag products company in Hong Kong.  It has more than 10,000 employees with offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Bangladesh and Cambodia. To cope with our rapid expansion, we are recruiting one Merchandiser with handled handbag experience for the following position:

Responsibility for Handbag Merchandiser :

• Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• Assist in the Product Development & Production processes to ensure the products meet customers’ quality and budget requirements
• Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production
• Arrange sample submission to customers for approval
• Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advancing cost-effectiveness

Job requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Marketing or related discipline;
• Min 3-5 years experience in the leather handbags industry
• Able to deal with overseas customers, factories and material suppliers independently
• Strong technical background
• Good sense of fashion trends and prior handbags exposure
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Self Motivated and well-organized.
• Able to work under pressure and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Good command of English / Mandarin
• Daily travel to Shenzhen is necessary.
