Merchandising Manager – Computer Accessories

Our client is a renowned technology retail company, dedicated to providing customers with the latest and greatest in electronics and home appliances. They have a reputable brand name and a strong presence in the EU market. To support their sourcing activities in Hong Kong, they are currently seeking to hire a Merchandising Manager. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the role of Senior Merchandising Manager.

Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability of the computer accessories category
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
  • Manage product assortment, including selection, pricing, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure effective product launches and promotions
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities related to computer accessories
  • Provide guidance and support to the merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the computer accessories or technology industry
  • In-depth knowledge of merchandising principles, including product assortment planning, pricing strategies, and inventory management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
