Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Cost Manager

Our client is an International Construction Management and General Contracting Company.  They provide Construction Management and General Contracting services to their Clients with a level of expertise, service and commitment unparalleled in the industry. They offer a complete scope of construction services ranging from interior fit-out and refurbishment to out-of-the-ground construction in the Commercial, Manufacturing, Hotel & Hospitality, High Technology and Retail sectors of industry. Now, they are recruiting one Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Cost Manager to join their team.

Job Descriptions and Requirements:

• Degree, Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building Studies/Engineering
• Min 8 years experience in commercial fit-out projects
• Experience working with fitting out contractors
• Knowledge building fit-out costing and procurement
• Provide measurement and valuation to the project.
• Pre-contract and post-contract administration
• Experience in budgeting, tendering, estimating and cost control
• Manage and review contractors. Sub-contractors, suppliers quotations
• Invoices & payments, reports financial cost, cash flow projections
• Procurement, change orders and preparation of final accounts
• Experience in commercial fit-out projects such as office, retail, F&B
• English ability. Cantonese/Mandarin and advantage
• Good computer skills, Excel and cost management software
